Our peer career advisor’s are an important on campus resource to helping us meet the needs of our students!
Each of our student members are trained in multiple areas within the career center, while also working closely with the entire team to make the Career Development Center a friendly experience for students. Within their roles, they review resumes, conduct career seminars for student groups, provide tips and tricks for interviewing, help with job searching techniques with students, and they market our office to the campus community.
They also receive regular career coaching and advising to ensure their personal careers are on the right track.
My name is Antonio Di Vita and I am from Middletown, NY. I am a junior here at UNH studying Mechanical Engineering and with a minor in Physics. This is my third year as a Peer Career Advisor for the Career Development Center. Here I use outreach opportunities to inform students on significant career building concepts such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills and behavior and job and internship search. In my spare time I enjoy riding dirt bikes and ATV’s, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends. An interesting fact about myself would be that I rebuilt a 33 year-old vintage motocross dirt bike from the ground up, that I only bought for $25 at a consignment auction. I hope to one day become a successful mechanical engineer and obtain my professional license in my field of work.
My name is Dalia Mejia, and I am from Newport News, VA. I am a Junior and a Dental Hygiene major at UNH. My career goal is to become a Registered Dental Hygienist and work at a pediatric office. This is my second year as a Peer Career Advisor at the CDC and I am also a member of Alpha Phi Omega. As a Peer Career Advisor, I perform outreach to students, clubs and organizations and classrooms to inform about career building skills. Students should utilize the Career Development Center because it is a great resource for resumes, cover letters, job searching, interviewing, etc.

As a Peer Career Advisor at the Career Development Center, my job is to assist students in many career-related topics, such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, and internship and job searches.
